News, Events, and Information
Friends of Scouting is the fundraising program for scouts in the Golden Gate District. Our District's goal for 2024 is $53,000. Our hope is that:
-
Each unit participates in the program, including featuring a Friends of Scouting presentation at one of your unit meetings
-
Every member of the District Operating Committee makes a pledge
-
We maximize use of the Council's and individual business's matching funds
