Colgan Creek Clean-up
In cooperation with the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, 13 cubs celebrated Earth Day with a hands-on clean-up at Colgan Creek and planted native plants.
Creek-to-Coast
Working with the city of Sant Rosa and Ocean Conservancy organization, 11 cubs participated as part of the annual, statewide Coastal Cleanup Day. This restored section of the creek is a true gem in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa with an active trail system Large trees, and deep pools that provide a habitat for a variety of aquatic and terrestrial wildlife which includes heron, steelhead trout, and river otters.
Our Cub Scouts learned how litter affects waterways, wildlife, and the ocean. They also practiced the Scout Law by being helpful, kind, courteous, clean, and reverent.
Through these projects, Pack 128 served our community, protected local habitats, and showed that even young Scouts can make a difference.
