The Golden Gate Area Council – Scouting America gives families the opportunity to experience our world-famous Tiger Cub Safari. The premier overnight adventure designed exclusively for Tiger Scouts and their adult partners. Tiger Cub Safari is a 24-hour, overnight camping experience for Tigers Scouts and an adult partner. It is the only opportunity for Tigers to camp at a Scouting America camp until they cross over. We feature six stations at which the Tigers and adults are given some short instruction and the opportunity to try their hand at the activity.

Since 1984, Tiger Cub Safari has stood as one of the most unique and highly anticipated programs in Scouting—highly respected for its immersive, hands-on experience and unforgettable memories. Hosted at Wente Scout Reservation, this 24-hour overnight adventure introduces young Scouts to the excitement of a full Scout camp in a safe, structured, and fun-filled environment.

Campers stay in canvas platform tents, enjoy great meals, and have access to modern amenities including showers. Scouts and their adult partners will enjoy . . .
