Sporting Clays for Scouting

The 14th Annual Sporting Clays for Scouting fundraiser, hosted by the Golden Gate Area Council – Scouting America, was a resounding success, bringing together supporters, outdoor enthusiasts, and community leaders for a day of camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy. Held on September 20, 2024, at Coyote Valley Sporting Clays, the event provided a unique and engaging experience while raising essential funds to support Scouting programs across the region.

Participants enjoyed an exhilarating day of sporting clays shooting, complemented by a variety of exciting activities, including live and silent auctions, a Grand Prize Raffle Drawing, and a BBQ feast. The event also featured raffles, awards, and recognition ceremonies, celebrating both exceptional marksmanship and the generosity of donors who contributed to the mission of Scouting.

The auction showcased a range of exclusive items tailored for sporting clays and outdoor enthusiasts, fostering a competitive yet spirited atmosphere of giving. Funds raised from the event will directly support the Golden Gate Area Council’s Scouting programs, providing resources, leadership training, and outdoor adventure opportunities for youth across the community.
