The Lake District is a division within the Golden Gate Area Council of Scouting America, serving the communities of Clearlake, Clearlake Oaks, Kelseyville, Lakeport, Lower Lake, Lucerne, Middletown, Nice, and Upper Lake in California. The district offers a comprehensive Scouting program that includes Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Explorers, and Sea Scouts, providing opportunities for youth to engage in leadership development, outdoor adventures, and community service. The Lake District is committed to fostering the principles of Scouting, aiming to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
